at the bus station we split. i went to mandalay to meet with gregory. archie went towards bagan.

back at AD1 hotel
lots of movement right in front of the hotel
still the old busses - red in mandalay, green in yangon
once that was the palace - than the brits and the japs had some big time fighting in mandalay. and since the palace was mostly wood - it burned down. to bad!
